Instructions
Prepare the Beef
In a mixing bowl, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes while preparing other ingredients.
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, white pepper, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Cook the Noodles
Boil the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with a splash of sesame oil to prevent sticking.
Stir-Fry the Beef
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Vegetables
In the same wok, heat another tablespoon of oil. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add bell pepper, snap peas, and carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine
Return the beef to the wok and pour in the prepared sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly. Add cooked noodles and green onions, tossing until well combined and heated through.
Garnish and Serve
Plate your beef lo mein and sprinkle with sesame seeds and additional green onions, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
