Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Wrap

  • 4 large pita breads or flatbreads
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce romaine or mixed greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce store-bought or homemade

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Add the chicken, ensuring it's well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).

Grill the Chicken

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove chicken from the marinade and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

Prepare the Wrap Components

  1. Warm the pita bread on the grill or in a dry skillet for about 1 minute per side.
  2. Lay out the pita and spread a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce in the center.

Assemble the Wraps

  1. Layer lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion on the pita.
  2. Add sliced chicken and sprinkle feta cheese over the top.

Wrap and Serve

  1. Fold the sides of the pita and roll it into a wrap. Secure with foil or a toothpick if needed. Serve immediately, with extra tzatziki on the side for dipping.
