BBQ Beef and Avocado Wrap

Equipment

  • Large skillet or grill pan

  • Cutting board and knife
  • Tongs or spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef flank steak or ribeye, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand or homemade
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup red onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar, pepper jack, or mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Marinate the Beef

  1. Toss the sliced beef in a bowl with BBQ sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for about 10 minutes while prepping other ingredients.

Cook the Beef

  1. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the beef for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and slightly caramelized.

Prepare the Avocado

  1. Slice the avocado and drizzle with lime juice to prevent browning.

Assemble the Wraps

  1. Lay out the tortillas. Evenly distribute the lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cheese, and avocado slices. Top with the cooked BBQ beef.

Wrap It Up

  1. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly. Slice in half for easier eating.

Serve & Enjoy

  1. Eat it fresh, or toast it lightly in a pan for a crispy finish!
