The Super Full Moon in Taurus cannot be missed and neither can the current Bliss Bowl (Buddha Bowl) that I am munching on for dinner. Dinner comes early to the Hungry Goddess kitchen, especially on Full Moon nights and especially when photographs must be taken before what seemed like full dark at 5:08pm.

This moon reminds us of our hearts – Taurus being ruled by Venus. The moon brings us opportunity to express what we love, what makes us passionate, what makes us angry or fearful, and how we choose to show up in this wild, whacky, sometimes chaotic world. At a time when our country seems so divided, I have been thinking about what brings us together. How our hearts can unite. And because food is such a unifying force in my personal world, I vote for food. In the next few weeks, before the big gatherings at Thanksgiving, reach out to those you love and share a meal. Make a casserole or something special for your neighbors. Volunteer time at a soup kitchen. Allow food to be a unifying force … after all, we all have to eat.

Before I jumped on the Full Moon call tonight for my Goddess Full Moon Group, I made this Bliss Bowl to nourish me, to give me energy to create and hold safe space for those who need to express what is in their hearts. We are all in this together, even if it feels like there are insurmountable differences separating us. And I choose food, and nourishment, and my heart to lead me through the right now.

This Bliss Bowl is so simple to make and you can modify anything or create your own! I used a super yummy marinade from BJ’s for the wild salmon and marinated it overnight before baking at 425F for about 12 minutes. The brussels were cleaned, trimmed, and tossed frequently with butter and two cloves of garlic over a medium heat for about 15 minutes. Here is the kale marinade that tenderizes the kale and will have you adding it to everything, I promise. And quinoa …. oh, how I love you … here is the recipe for absolutely perfect, fluffy quinoa every single time.

Add it all to a bowl, gather with those you love, eat, share your hearts, and be nourished.

Love to you right now, I send you blessings from my heart and bliss bowls forever! Blessings!
