White Sangria Recipe with Fennel Pollen

White Sangria with Fennel Pollen by The Hungry GoddessAdding a Sangria recipe to the Summer Fennel Pollen Recipes eCookbook was a no-brainer.  I knew exactly what I wanted – a fizzy, slightly sweet Moscato and tons of gorgeous summer fruits!

Adding Fennel Pollen to the Sangria gave a deep, herbaceous note that made this one of the yummiest Sangrias that I have ever had.  It makes a beautiful presentation and is so simple that you can focus on enjoying your summer party.

I looked for the Drunken Goddess to give her opinion but she absconded with the full pitcher and was last seen heading for the beach.

Happy Summer Sipping and Happy Fennel Friday!

  • 1 bottle of Moscato Wine
  • ½ cup Courvoisier Cognac
  • 1 teaspoon of Fennel Pollen
  • Melons
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Pineapple

Add fruit and fennel pollen to pitcher.  Cover the fruit with wine and Courvoisier. Chill for several hours and serve with fruit in glass.  A splash of soda water can increase the fizz.
