Giddy Up & Go Granola is Thoughtful Food for Organic, Delicious Snacking (Review)

Review for Giddy Up and Go Granola

Giddy Up & Go Granola sent us some packs of granola to take for a test drive.  Allow me to share with you how delighted that we are with this product and five reasons that you need to try it right now.

First. Giddy Up & Go Granola is made with Organic ingredients.  It is Gluten and Dairy Free.  The granola is Vegan and there are no GMO’s.  AND it is great for diabetics.  Check, check, check for all of the boxes that make this healthy and safe.  This is a snack that we can feel good about giving to our kids and OUR bodies.

Second. Giddy Up & Go Granola has proven to be super handy – The Healthy Goddess took it to Tennessee recently as a great in-flight snack, we graze on it throughout the day and it is a perfect snack to pop into a bag and pop into your purse when you are on the road.  The granola has found its way into breakfast dishes like quinoa and almond milk cereal and my overnight oatmeal.  We have mixed it with yogurt for lunch and sprinkled it on regular oatmeal as well.  Checking more boxes.  For me especially, the easier something is for me to grab, the more likely that I am to grab healthy!

Now for the big Third.  Giddy Up & Go Granola is DELICIOUS.  It is soft (extra bonus checks) and easy to eat.  There are no rock hard clumps – you can actually see all of the ingredients.  There are two mixes – Seriously Seedy and Notoriously Nutty and both are equally good; so good, that I could not pick a favorite.

Ingredients for Notoriously Nutty: Organic & gluten free oats, organic & gluten free corn flakes, organic flaxseed meal, organic raisins, organic walnuts, organic almonds, organic pecans, organic agave nectar, organic sunflower seed oil, organic vanilla, organic cinnamon, salt.

And for those that may have nut allergies, not to worry, Seriously Seedy has you covered:  Organic & gluten free oats, organic & gluten free corn flakes, organic flaxseed meal, organic raisins, organic sunflower seeds, organic sesame seeds, organic pumpkin seeds, organic agave nectar, organic sunflower seed oil, organic vanilla, organic cinnamon, salt.

Fourth.  Jennifer Bielawski is the Founder of Thoughtful Food and the creator of Giddy Up & Go Granola.  These guiltless creations for us actually came out of a desperate need for Jennifer and her family:

In 2009 my family was forced to change our diet to eliminate grain, starch, sugar and most lactose. Because of the huge learning curve and the need to eliminate almost everything in my pantry and restock it with foods we could eat, I spent $2,200 in one month alone trying to feed my family. After investing in many new gadgets and spending countless hours in the kitchen experimenting with recipes and searching for and testing numerous products, I have learned how to replicate many of the foods we can no longer tolerate.

From Jennifer’s search for how to drastically change her family’s eating habits came something that she can share with all of us.  I love her philosophy of Thoughtful Food and I love supporting women-owned businesses.  When speaking with Jennifer, I was so impressed by her knowledge, research and passion for making this kind of food and sharing it.  Read more of Jennifer’s story here.

The Fifth and Final Reason that you need to try Giddy Up & Go Granola is because it is easy to find at our favorite stores – Whole Foods being one of them.  Or you can order it online direct from Jennifer and Thoughtful Food.

The Hungry Goddess and The Healthy Goddess give Giddy Up and Go Granola 5 cherries out of 5 cherries.  We LOVE IT and you will too.

Since #HGEATS is focusing on breakfast this coming week, I recommend you get some Giddy Up & Go Granola – plus, it is a great snack for during the #HGEATS chats!
